Your MyIOTNetwork Questions, Answered

How is MyIOTNetwork different from public LoRaWAN?
We operate a managed private network on carrier-grade tower infrastructure with guaranteed capacity, local support and a built-in data platform — instead of best-effort community coverage. You get the reach of a public network with the reliability and control of a private one.
Who should consider a private MyIOTNetwork?
Anyone with LoRaWAN-based devices: hobbyists and students on the free plan, agritech and logistics companies, factories, utilities, universities, and government smart-city projects. If your device speaks LoRaWAN AS923, it can join.
Does MyIOTNetwork work in remote places?
Yes — LoRaWAN is designed for range. A single tower-hosted gateway can reach devices 10–15 km away in rural line-of-sight conditions. For sites outside current coverage, we sell gateways you can deploy yourself that connect back to our network.
How am I charged — by data or by period?
Both models are available. Prepaid plans meter a data allowance; subscription plans give a fixed device and data quota per month. You can switch models anytime as your deployment grows.
Can I use the data in my own coding projects?
Yes. Paid plans include API access — REST for queries, webhooks for push, and MQTT for streaming. Payloads are decoded to JSON so you can pipe them straight into your own applications, databases or analytics stack.
Who owns the data?
You do. Device payloads belong to the account that registered the device. Only aggregated, anonymised network statistics are used for coverage planning and smart-city analytics products.
